Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the center located?
The center operates throughout the Triangle Area in North Carolina. We are based in Raleigh, though we do not have a central address to visit. We request a call or email to schedule meeting in person.
How long is a tutoring session?
A standard session will take 1 hour; however, we will often divide a younger student's hours into smaller increments, lasting between 30-45 minutes. Parents and students may always request an alternative.
What happens if I am late or I miss a session?
If you know you may miss a sesson or are running late, the best thing to do is contact the tutor notifying him/her. If the tutor has already arrived to the session or he/she is in route before hearing from you, you may be charged the full or partial amount of the session. If the tutor is notified at least one hour before the session begins, no charge will apply.
What happens if the tutor is late or misses a session?
When a tutor is late or misses a session, he/she is expected to work with the parent/student to find a day to make up the missed time within the week. Parents/students will not be charged for the missed time.
Can I register multiple children?
Yes, multiple children can be registered, but you will have to complete a separate registration form for each child.
How do online sessions work?
Once a schedule has been decided between the parent/student and tutor, an invite for Zoom or Google Meet will be emailed to all necessary parties. Materials needed for sessions will be included in the email prior to sessions.
